Context

We loved Mella's positioning: to make homecare a beautiful ritual.

These are the kind of disruptive briefs we love. Homecare is typically felt to be a chore, where products ignore aesthetics for utility and functionality. Not Mella.

For luxury customers, they want a home that feels like a sanctuary, where everything in it (cleaning products included) have been thought about. The candle isn't just a candle. The soap isn't just soap. Everything is curated and considered.

Mella get that. They sit at the crossroads of fragrance, design and everyday ritual - making homecare products that genuinely deserve a spot on the shelf rather than a life under the sink. What they needed was a digital experience that matched that conviction, and did justice to the whimsical, imaginative brand would they’d created.

The Solution

We built a custom Shopify experience that pulls you straight into the Mella world - the one you step into when you use their products. Budding flowers, flying cherubs and mysterious doorways all lead you into this rich, fragranced landscape. Our devs had an absolute field day.

The goal was to blend immersion with performance. A platform that feels like a place worth exploring, whilst still being commercial, guiding users to purchase.

The Impact

We're really happy with this one. The site really brings Mella to life and makes the makes the competition look exactly like what it is: boring, functional, forgettable. Commercially, it's already doing its job. Higher order values, stronger repeat purchase, and the kind of emotional connection that turns customers into genuine fans.
